Choose the right line. Secure the right transaction.

Two separate decisions: three lines suited to your use, then documentary risk for a pre-owned purchase.

Your three directions

The score compares four use choices. It does not rank bags or predict stock, value or authenticity.

01100% fit

Lady Dior

Why
Rounded handles, Cannage and a crisp build make this a polished direction for a disciplined load.
Trade-off
The structured opening and charms need a real test; outer size and useful capacity do not always match.
Loaded test
Load phone, wallet and glasses, then open one-handed and try the strap over a coat.
02100% fit

Dior Book Tote

Why
An open rectangular tote for papers, light travel and bulky items.
Trade-off
The exposed opening, loaded weight and textile friction matter more than the stated size alone.
Loaded test
Add a laptop or papers, walk ten minutes, then set it down to assess base, handles and stability.
03100% fit

30 Montaigne

Why
A structured flap with shoulder or cross-body carry depending on version: a compact city direction.
Trade-off
Clasp, depth and chain or strap length vary; do not treat different references as one bag.
Loaded test
Fit phone, glasses and wallet together, then test the clasp one-handed and over a coat.

Choose an architecture, not only a name

Lady Dior, Saddle, Book Tote, Toujours, D-Journey and 30 Montaigne serve materially different uses. The matcher compares carry, access, structure and load, then explains three directions. Its percentage expresses fit with those visible choices only: it is not a quality ranking or an estimate of value, stock or authenticity.

02

Six lines and their trade-offs

Lady Dior prioritises polish, Saddle an asymmetric form, Book Tote rectangular capacity, Toujours open softness, D-Journey zipped mobility and 30 Montaigne a compact flap. Family names are not enough: size, material, lining, handle, chain, strap and season can change capacity, weight and use.

03

A loaded test that prevents a poor size choice

Reproduce your real load: phone, wallet, glasses, keys, bottle or laptop as relevant. Open one-handed, walk for ten minutes, sit down and try the bag over a jacket. Check weight, bounce, friction, base, content exposure and access. A campaign image reveals none of those trade-offs.

04

Official network and availability

Dior presents its boutiques, website and authorised distributors as the safest route for ensuring the authenticity of a new product. A listing may offer purchase, pre-order, contact or reservation depending on country and stock. These states change: FRA9 does not promise price, colour, appointment or availability; check the exact reference on decision day.

05

No secret code replaces provenance

Cannage, embroidery, charms, stitching, labels, codes, boxes and invoices can be copied, replaced or separated. First identify model, size, material, colour and period, then assess proportions, construction, wear, repairs and ownership history together. One difference proves neither fake nor genuine.

06

Repair and authentication are different services

Dior describes repair and Dior Care routes to extend the life of its creations; its terms also say products identified as counterfeit are not repaired. That does not turn a request, refusal or commercial intake into a universal certificate. Contact client service before travelling and ask precisely what it can confirm.

07

Build the file before paying

Check seller identity and status, address, protected payment, return terms and chain of ownership. Request front, back, sides, base, interior, handles, strap, closure, hardware, visible markings, defects and included accessories. Preserve listing and messages. An implausible price, urgency or refusal of evidence is a reason to stop.

08

If doubt begins after purchase

Do not rush to use or alter the item. Photograph parcel, label, object and defects; save payment, listing and messages. Rights differ between professional and private sellers, and withdrawal does not automatically apply to person-to-person sales. FRA9’s evidence and recovery path orders the next steps without issuing authentication.

FRA9 · FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Will Dior authenticate every pre-owned bag?

Do not assume a boutique will issue a certificate. Dior mainly describes official sales, client service and repair; ask before travelling what can actually be examined or confirmed.

Is a code, invoice or box enough?

No. Each element can be copied or separated from the bag. Provenance, the whole object, seller, payment and returns must be assessed together.

Which Dior bag suits a laptop?

Book Tote is the first capacity direction, but measure the device and test the exact bag’s base, handles, loaded weight and opening security.

What does the risk score mean?

It flags documentary weakness in the transaction only. It does not calculate the probability that a bag is authentic or recommend a price.

What if the seller refuses photographs?

Stop before payment. Refusing whole-object views, defects, provenance or return terms prevents a defensible decision.
