A USEFUL STARTING POINT

Find the guide you need first

Choose the dossier that answers your next question. Background and the complete directory are just below.

UNDERSTAND BEFORE YOU CHOOSE

Read research without skipping the evidence

A laboratory result, clinical study and available product represent different stages of evidence.

Question, method, limits

Identify the research question, method and population. Check whether the work has been published, peer-reviewed or only announced. A correlation alone does not establish a cause; a finding in one setting does not automatically apply everywhere. Read the limitations before turning a promising result into a practical claim.

Connect the disciplines

Energy, space, health and digital research overlap, but retain their different scales and definitions. Medical research is not individual healthcare advice. For climate data, distinguish a local observation, a long-term trend and a projection.
